Media Artist Paul C. Opens Solo Exhibition at Kumho Alver

From November 1 to December 1, 2025, media artist Paul C. presents his solo exhibition titled The Texture of Light at Kumho Alver, a leading contemporary and experimental art venue in Seoul.

Curated around the concept of sculpting the trajectory of time through the movement of light, the exhibition explores the poetic and sensory convergence of light, material, and time. Across three signature bodies of work—The Canvas of Light, Bit Doza Series 1, and Pixel Light—Paul C. reinterprets the delicate relationship between nature and digital technology, tradition and emotional resonance.

Unfolding across three thematic floors, the exhibition leads viewers through a multilayered journey where light becomes a vessel of memory, rhythm, and presence.

A rotating square frame where shifting light traces and records “the present moment.”

02 — Bit Doza

A reinterpretation of artisan time and form through light, merging fiber-optic ceramics with the traditional Sabang table.

03 — Pixel Light

An interactive work in which sunlight and LCD displays converge to turn light into language, and disappearance into a quiet dialogue.
