With a theme of surreal beauty that colors the city and sky, Red Light 2 Seconds utilizes all six towering media pillars to showcase a dynamic reinterpretation of urban life. By applying a variety of motion graphic techniques to still photographs, the installation presents the modern cityscape from a fresh and unexpected perspective.

The series began with a fleeting inspiration—what if, while stopped at a red light, one captured all the buildings in view during those brief two seconds? This question sparked the creation of Red Light 2 Seconds, where black-and-white photographs are hand-colored and refined through Photoshop, revealing Kim Jung-man’s unique expression of surreal urban beauty.
