NEWance: Light and Shadow

Aesthetic harmony emerging from stark contrasts.

Like two sides of the same coin, light and shadow are not merely opposites—they exist in an essential, relational interplay. The sensibility found in their coexistence reveals a spectrum of nuance that transcends imagination. In this exhibition, we explore how such contrasting dualities can be reinterpreted and applied to design through the lens of art.

The term nuance refers to subtle variations in tone, brightness, saturation, or mood—delicate shifts that influence perception. By integrating this concept with a digital, convergent approach, the exhibition seeks to discover a new nuance—or NEWance—born from the encounter of contrasts.

Rather than simply showcasing finished works, the exhibition also invites visitors to experience the process: the materials, phenomena, and imaginative paths that led to each creation. It is an exploration not just of results, but of the unfolding perceptions that shape them.
